Thanks to everyone who helped make last week's 2024 All-Board and Community Leadership Retreat in Denver a success. The keynote speakers — Evelyne Kane, MPHElizabeth Montgomery and Roger Adams — brought their insights and knowledge to share with us. Thank you to all our presenters who shared on relevant topics, including artificial intelligence, community engagement and health equity. Our retreat co-chairs Jenni (Blendu) Gudapati PhD MBA RN and Evan Stults worked tirelessly to put together a strong retreat, and we’re so grateful for their efforts. It was a special year, as we welcomed our new partners for the 13th Statement of Work to join us. We’d also like to thank our board of directors, our Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and ESRD Network 16 boards, our staff presenters and the many Comagine Health staff who worked behind the scenes to make it happen. We’re so thankful to have such strong partners at the event who collaborated to drive community engagement in the service of health care transformation. See you all next year! #CommunityEngagement To learn more about our intent to bid as prime contractor for the 13th Statement of Work to serve as QIN-QIO in Region 6, visit https://lnkd.in/gCR-iGEf.

In preparation for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services QIN-QIO 13th Scope of Work, Comagine Health spoke with almost 70 health care leaders in 14 states and they all agreed — the need for QIN-QIO services is there. But where they varied is in how those services should be delivered. This reinforced to us the critical need to meet our customers where they are and provide our services in a variety of ways. Learn more about the insights the group provided in the full report at https://lnkd.in/gmuNy6iY. It’s National Skilled Nursing Care Week, a time to honor all those who work tirelessly to provide the best in round-the-clock care. Our President and CEO Marc Bennett has written a letter honoring these health care professionals as part of the annual observance: A Letter to All Skilled Nursing Care Center Staff As we approach National Skilled Nursing Care Week® (NSNCW), I want to express my gratitude for the essential role you play in providing high-quality 24-hour nursing care to our seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your dedication and compassion make a significant impact on the lives of those who reside within your care. This year’s NSNCW theme, "Radiant Memories -- A Tribute to the Golden Age of Radio," beautifully captures the enduring legacy of skilled nursing care centers. Just like the captivating stories and melodies that once resonated through radio waves, your work creates radiant memories for residents, families and staff alike. The past several years have been difficult as the world faced the COVID-19 pandemic. Skilled nursing care centers and their staff experienced unique challenges as you worked tirelessly to keep residents safe by implementing strong infection prevention and control practices to prevent and contain outbreaks while also striving to maintain connections that reduced isolation and loneliness. Your dedication and impact extend beyond duty hours. You touch lives, create bonds and leave lasting impressions. Thank you for being such an important part of the care community. Your residents will continue to benefit in meaningful ways from the infection control skills you have developed and honed over the past four years. As we look ahead to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services QIN-QIO 13th Statement of Work, Comagine Health is actively exploring the most effective approaches to address the diverse needs of providers and communities across Region 6 while supporting the QIN-QIO Program at the national level. That’s why, in collaboration with five partner organizations, we interviewed 68 health care leaders across 14 states to spot barriers and discover opportunities for quality improvement. A primary insight: It’s important to align the QIN-QIO Program’s goals with those of each health care system or medical group. Such alignment would not only simplify participation but could foster a sense of mutual support as opposed to the feeling of managing competing priorities. Want to know more? Get the full report at https://lnkd.in/gezfQHdC. Thank you to the following organizations that conducted interviews in support of this project: * Alliance for Health Outcomes and Performance Excellence (AHOPE) — a partnership between KFMC Health Improvement Partners and Kansas Healthcare Collaborative * Great Plains Quality Innovation Network * Iowa Healthcare Collaborative * Quality Health Associates of North Dakota * South Dakota Foundation for Medical Care #QIO #QualityImprovement
